The Racecourse
Situated
on the eastern outskirts of the city the racecourse is set in
a valley surrounded by low hills which make for excellent viewing
platforms for the word famous Carlton Draught Grand Annual Steeplechase.
The racecourse
occupies 40 hectares including the famous Brierley and Granters
Paddocks which are used during steeplechases.
