V/Line will be operating a special Race Train service to Warrnambool for the final day of the May Racing Carnival, Thursday 1 May 2008.  This special service arrives in Warrnambool in time for the first race and departs after the last. Please note that all packages are based on prices per person. Responsible Serving of Alcohol 

• V/Line takes the responsible serving of alcohol very seriously. Passengers deemed to be intoxicated can be refused service and travel

• Alcohol sales on the 06.28 special race train and 07.47 regular service will commence one hour prior to arrival in Warrnambool (approximately 9.00am and 10.00am respectively). Only light and low-strength alcoholic beverages will be available for sale on the return journey

• Customers are reminded that they are not permitted to consume their own alcohol on V/Line services

 General Information 

• The race train is a fully reserved chartered service so seats are limited and subject to availability

• Reservations are required on all regular services to Warrnambool

• Passengers can join the Race Train at Geelong (no fare discount)
